Eco-Friendly Packaging:
We feature products from companies that are committed to preserving our planet. They do this in a variety of ways, such as using organically grown essential oils or recyclable packaging made from post-consumer waste. Our baskets contain products that were carefully selected because of their promise to strive for a healthier, more sustainable planet.
At Lula Organics, we use packaging that is good for the earth: reusable baskets and bags, wood shreds, biodegradable cellophane, cornstarch peanuts, and undyed straw ribbon. All of our printed materials are printed on recycled paper with soy based inks.
Paraben Free:
This is one of our biggest concerns at Lula Organics, therefore we only choose products that are free of nasty parabens. Most products on the market are filled with these harsh, artificial preservatives that are linked to allergies, breast cancer, and altering hormone levels. We have found many luxurious products that use more natural alternatives, such as Vitamin E, rosemary oleoresin, and potassium sorbate.
Sodium Laurel Sulphate Free:
Sodium Laurel Sulphate is a cosmetic detergent found in most body care products. This harsh cleaning compound is cleans the skin, but also strips away necessary oils and top layers of epidermis, therefore making it a known skin irritant. Our products use healthy alternatives that get the job done, but are gentler and milder on our delicate skin.
Free of Artificial Colors:
All of the products in Lula's baskets are free of artificial dyes and colorants… there's no need!
Free of Artificial Fragrances:
It's hard to pick up a product that does not contain traces of artificial fragrance, even if the label says "aromatherapy". More often than not, these products contain traces of essential oils, bit also contain large amounts of synthetic fragrances. Fragrant chemicals are usually derived from petroleum and, in some cases, animal sources. Not only are they bad for us, but they are bad for animals and the earth as well. Once these artificial compounds are washed down the drain, they enter the water system and cause long-term damage to wildlife by interfering with the animals' natural ability to eliminate toxins from their system.
The products we feature only contain pure essential oils derived straight from a flower, plant, tree, or root.
Soy Based Candles:
Lula Organics only works with suppliers who create soy-based, essential oil candles with lead-free wicks. Most candles use paraffin wax, which is not a renewable resource, unlike the green alterative of soy. Our candles are loaded with tons of yummy, natural essential oils… and these clean-burning candles last 50% longer than the alternatives!
Cruelty Free:
Of course! We wouldn't have it any other way. It is estimated that over 115 million animals are killed during animal testing in the U.S. every year. Please visit

Orders received before 2:00 PM (PST) will be shipped that day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM (PST) will be shipped first thing the following day. Orders placed Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on Monday morning.

All baskets are sent with a personalized message to the recipient. All notes are handwritten on a bright, modern notecard that match the basket design.
